何卉奇是一位跨学科艺术家和研究者，实践根植于本土经验、民间仪式与当代视觉文化，让流动的经验与艺术实践在跨文化的缝隙空间中生长。她的作品试图构建一个在时空维度之间的弹球游戏，在其中，视觉、感受、经验、知识与情绪等等相互交织、碰撞，并勾勒出动态的连接。近期的项目-猗魂異志（2024-）关注中国南方山地的巫术实践，鬼神叙事和影视文化，结合民族志的研究方法和身体感官经验进行影像、水墨、装置，行为等跨媒介的创作。她本科毕业于广州美术学院中国画系，硕士毕业于纽约视觉艺术学院(School of Visual Arts)艺术实践系(Art Practice)，金史密斯(Goldsmiths)视觉人类学系(MA Visual Anthropology)。
Huiqi is an artist and researcher who currently practices a fog-like approach to life and work, allowing fluid queer experiences to disperse and touch, connecting the gaps, and thus blurring rigid boundaries. Their recent research and art projects focus on shamanistic practices and futuristic narratives in the mountainous regions of Southern China. They combine visual ethnography research with personal sensory experiences for multimedia artworks. Huiqi graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Chinese Painting from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, a Master of Fine Arts in Art Practice from the School of Visual Arts in New York, and a Master of Arts in Visual Anthropology from Goldsmiths, University of London.
